This 81 slide presentation on CD, in both PDF and PPT (PowerPoint) formats, documents the year long process of designing and executing a runway ensemble for the 2008 Convergence in Tampa Bay.  Designers Daryl Lancaster and Loretta Dian Phipps were two of the six designers selected to participate in this challenge by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc.  They were paired up, given yarn in vibrant tropical colors, and given a year to come up with their creation.  Using the loom, the dressform, the sewing machine, and adding beads, quilted silk and handmade felt, the pair of designers created a show stopping coat and dress.  See it all here, suitable for a guild program, the presentation is designed to last about an hour and a half.  41 page color monograph included.
