Created in 2003, this garment is handwoven from an 8 shaft 2-block Point Twill (Strickler #165) of cotton and rayon.  It is machine quilted to a thermal fleece backing made from polyester.  A vintage dyed animal skin is used for the accent panels in the front and back.  The lining is cut from a polyester sari.  The garment was adapted from a Design and Sew pattern.  The sleeves on this boxy styled garment are cut in one piece with the side fronts and backs.  Finished underarm circumference is 48", finished width at hem is 46".  The length from the back neck to hem is 32 1/2" and the length from the neck to the sleeve hem is 29".  Garment should be dry cleaned at a reputable dry cleaner who is capable of cleaning leather.  For easier viewing of images, please go to my website,  and scroll down until you find the images for this garment.  Please contact me for any further information or photos.
